The DAC is committed to open, transparent, responsible, and reproducible science. We apply these principles in our own work and in the support we provide to researchers. As data experts, we help teams understand and implement FAIR principles.
The Open Neuroscience Ecosystem
Navigating open-science policies, standards, and frameworks can be overwhelming. Acronyms and technical terms often seem to assume expertise in data engineering, science policy, and metascience. Our interactive graph of the open neuroscience ecosystem helps you explore the landscape. It includes an extensive glossary to help you understand key terms and abbreviations.
Data Management Plans
The Paris Brain Institute requires every research project to have a Data Management Plan (DMP). Most European and French funders share this requirement. A DMP describes the full lifecycle of research data. It covers collection, processing, methodologies, standards, sharing, open-access provisions, curation, and long-term preservation. This ensures data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
We support researchers through OPIDoR. This is a machine-actionable platform developed by Inist-CNRS for creating DMPs that meet European Commission and ANR requirements.
